The History of the Juliette Mill
The Juliette Mill is a 6 story concrete structure, grist mill, that was rebuilt in 1926 after the original structure burned down. At the time, this mill was the largest hydro-powered grist mill in the world with a total of 25 stones to grind corn into grits.

The Juliette Mill was featured in the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and it is located across from the internationally famous Whistle Stop Cafe.

The building was also home of a Motorcycle museum showcasing antiques and vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles.

The Juliette Mill is under new ownership and we are in the process of planning staged renovations to accommodate guests as a short term rental AIRBNB and VRBO style respite and hopefully a Wedding/ Event Venue and Film/ TV ad location in the near future.
